If I was five

  • Jan. 5th, 2010 at 3:06 PM
I actually wish I was five. If I was five I could go out and play in the snow until my nose went red and I'd be wearing red wellies, a brown duffle coat with toggles, a blue bobble hat and matching glubs.

But I'm not five, which seems very unfair.

UKfur.org ran by nobs.

"You appear to have some kind of vendetta with Kyy, and that's fine. Don't know why, and frankly, don't care. But I asked you to stop acting like a prick on the thread 'Santa Pod'. You chose instead to answer back because you feel you were slighted.
You have just one warning left before you'll be suspended from these forums.
Being that you're being intentionally incendiary for no particular reason, you'll be receiving more weeks suspension that would ordinarily be handed out, coupled with an additional four-week inability to post.

I suggest you chill the fuck out. I'm sick of odious little gonks like you doing whatever the fuck you want on these boards."

Let me get this straight. I'm posting this because I don't like being called a prick or a wanker on a public board by bullyish mods. I've got no problems with Kyy. And I don't do what ever I fucking want on the boards. I'm open and honest.

Srsly wtf.

Got banned by cabbit though, figures. Since he's a thief.

Proxy time.

2010...

First of all "Happy New Year" to you all. I see a few people have given a few things up like Ciggys or putting them on diets and joining the gyms.

Todays My birthday and im 29 years of age. Never do a great deal on my birthdays due to it being so close after Christmas and New Year. Again this would be the first Birthday without my Dad...but im ok with it now, I was a bit depressed a few days ago thinking about this. I haven't any set plans for the new years but I do have a few goals to reach.

1. Get a job
2. Learn to drive
3. See more of my friends
4. Get a boyfriend (threw that in for good measure)
5. Go to Canada and Usa
6. Get laid more oftern (*shrugs* what the hell)
7. The classic...be more active and healthy

Grumpy Old New Year

  • Jan. 1st, 2010 at 11:52 AM
I'm really happy I didn't celebrate the Roman New Year, really very happy indeed. No drama, no hangover, no having to mingle with people I don't like and/or are not interested in trying to make new friends. No awkwardness, no trying to get home from someone else's house, while drunk, at shit o'clock.

It was nice to go to bed just after midnight, listen to the fireworks and fall asleep to then wake up the following day knowing most of the people in my part of the world felt like crap and I didn't.

So yeah, not celebrating the Roman New Year is the way to go for me. I might not celebrate another one. Besides, I do all my new year celebrating in October/November for Samhain, which at least has some importance and meaning for me.

It's nice not to have had a host of people, some of whom I don't know, wishing me a Happy New Year too, that's one aspect I've especially enjoyed this time around.

advantage

The mountain by its trees weakens itself.
The grease which ministers to the fire fries itself.
The cinnamon tree can be eaten, and therefore it is cut down.
The varnish tree is useful, and therefore incisions are made in it.
All men know the advantage of being useful, but no one knows the advantage of being useless.
